Beginning this 2011-12 season, the Fillies are a combined Girls HS hockey team centered in the Barrington area and made up of nearby Northwest suburban high schools. The schools participating this season are Barrington HS, Hersey HS, Lake Zurich HS and Wauconda HS.

The team and the organization are committed to providing high school girls the opportunity to continue to play ice hockey past their youth hockey careers; and to give interested girls a chance to play organized hockey for the first time.

The Fillies play in the Metro Girls division of the Chicago Metropolitan High School Hockey League. The team will play Home and Away games against each of the other 14 teams in the conference this season. Based on the team’s Regular Season results, we will participate in either the Metro Girls’ Scholastic Cup or Founders Cup Tournament. The team may also choose to participate in the Blackhawk Cup state tournament.
